Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 100 gms for dough: all purpose flour


  • 20 gms oil for moyan


  • 1/4 cups syrup: sugar


  • 2 tbsp water


  • 8-10 nos saffron


  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder


  • 100 gms filling: mawa


  • 2 tbsp almond


  • 1 tbsp cashew


  • 1 tbsp chironji


  • 2 tbsp pistachio


  • 2 tbsp garnish: almond and pistachio silvers


  • 2 tbsp dried rose leaves


  • 2-3 cups frying: ghee

Directions

  • Dough: add oil in maida and rub nicely to get bread crumb like texture.add water little by little and knead to a semi soft dough. cover and keep aside.
  • Chop nuts for filling.
  • Cook mawa in heavy bottom pan over low flame for 4-5 minutes. Add all chopped nuts.
  • Syrup: cook sugar, water, saffron and cardamom powder till 1 string consistency.
  • Divide dough in 4 equal parts.
  • Roll the dough ball little and fill generous stuffing. Seal the edges.
  • Fry kachoris over low flame till golden colour.
  • Make hole in centre of fried kachori. Fill sugar syrup inside. Garnish with chopped nuts and rose petals.
